Objective: Practice making dual tessellations. Look for duality in Escher's work.

  1. Describe the dual platonic solids that appear in Escher's:
  2. The regular tessellation of the plane by squares is self-dual. Explain.
  3. Draw the dual tessellation right on top of the tessellations shown:
    Note that this one is a tessellation of a sphere.
