| Image title | WFA00:METERSLANGE ESCHER GAAT NAAR SCHIPHOL:DEN HAAG:09JAN2008- De 48 meter lange "Metamorphose" (uit 1968) van de wereldberoemde Nederlandse graficus M.C. Escher (1898-1972), die sinds jaar en dag in het postkantoor van Den Haag (nabij de Grote kerk) hing, gaat verhuizen naar Lounge 4 van luchthaven Schiphol. Het postkantoor gaat verbouwen en kan in de nieuwe ruimte, de Escher niet meer herbergen. Het doek is 48 meter lang, en anderhalve meter hoog. Het zal in 6 stukken worden gezaagd en in twee gedeelten worden getransporteerd waarna het weer in elkaar wordt gezet en (als het hangt) worden gerestaureerd.
