Talk:Tessellation Project Lite

I don't understand why we have this page as well as Tessellation Art Project Lite. This is bad, to have a proliferation of slight variations on projects, especially with nearly identical and confusing names. Is there any reason this couldn't have been done by adding to/modifying Tessellation Art Project Lite? It seems like the only difference is more specificity in what sort of sketches are required, which I think makes a fine addition, and the grading rubric, which I would argue doesn't belong as part of the assignment, because it's much too course specific.

The other alternative is to make custom assignments all the time, since we're all doing slightly different things. But if that's the approach, then it's got to live in the Course: namespace so it doesn't pollute the main text. For example, I noticed this assignment because I went to the Category:Project page, and saw a confusing list. Bryan 20:32, 8 November 2012 (CST)
