K-12: Materials at high school level.
1. Create 2 different tessellations based on the square grid given below. You should be able to create a tessellation by some figure. It doesn’t matter if they are fish, rabbits, people, or something entirely different. Use pencil at this stage.
2. Create 2 different tessellations based on the paralellogram grid given below. You should be able to create a tessellation by some figure. It doesn’t matter if they are fish, rabbits, people, or something entirely different. Use pencil at this stage.
3. Pick the sketch you like best and turn it into a nice tessellation. Use a black pen to ink in the figures. Use color if you want to make the figures stand out more.
